As I discover my voice more & more in floral design I have been drawn to colours and textures that really stand out. I appreciate the pure qualities of an all-white bouquet (I really, really do! It's truly beautiful!), but sometimes I just want my pieces to scream with life and vibrancy and zeal! So- one night as I was lying awake in bed, I couldn't help but form an idea for a styled shoot that involved wearing our wedding attire again (because why not!), creating the biggest & boldest bouquet possible & inviting a dear friend to photograph the shoot! It just so happens that this friend wasn't able to attend our wedding, and I wanted her to be apart of our 'wedding day' in some special way; we basically recreated a portion of our wedding for her to enjoy & show off her creativity skills with; my friends are awesome, and my husband looked so handsome (as always) in his blue suit.
